More Open House Goodies!

Well, Open House is almost here! YEAH! I finalized which designs I was doing for my make and takes and finished up another hour drawing gift! YEAH! I am having SO much fun with this! I hope you like what you see!


These are my "Make & Takes" - I may add a ribbon or some glitter to the flowers! I used the set "Heartfelt Thanks" for the card and "Doodle Alphabet" , which is from the Spring mini catalog, for the bookmark! My daughter LOVES the bookmark - hmm wonder if I could barter - clean room for a cool book mark......?! We'll see!



The last hour drawing gift! I love this set - "Loads of Love"! It has a compliment set that you can put different things in the bed of the truck AND, this is so cool, people in the window like they're driving! How cool is that?!

Busy Lately!

Well, unfortunately my time has not been my own! I was up to my eyeballs in costumes for the school play - Alice's Adventures in Wonderland! Wonderful play and the kids were amazing! I made so many different costumes from the card soldiers to the cape for the Queen of Hearts (she provided her own dress) and props! The play was successful and I promptly got sick! I am also trying HARD to get ready for my first Open House for Stampin' Up! I invited over 60 people but it's the first day of Spring Break here so I don't expect many to show up - hope they do but we'll see! I am having fun making treat bags, cards, scrapbooks and even came up with an awesome idea for the ladies who book a party too! I finally got my supply order too! It was essential as I have some door prizes coming from that order! So, now if my butt gets in high gear I should be all right! The picture is of 2 gifts I will be giving out on the hour during my Open House! I have to threaten my family that they're not for eating but for looking! LOL! Wish me luck!

Additional Duties As Assigned

Well I bet you never have guessed that "additional duties as assigned" would be this broad of a spectrum! We had a parent back out at the last moment for wearing the costume for tonights fundraiser for the PTA. Well, I can't let an opportunity go by like this (kidding here!) so since they were in need....... and the costume fit..... well the picture explains it all! Enjoy!

Even A Trained Monkey Can Do It!

Okay, maybe not really but it's a funny picture anyway! We had "Stuffed Animal Day" at my school so I brought my son's old monkey "Tiki"! He used to LOVE this monkey that he got from my Mom! I thought he'd get a kick out of the picture (I was "reprimanded" when he found out what I did but.... ;)!) Here's Tiki sitting at my desk working hard!
