This is a picture of the lunch bag I made my daughter for school! I used plastic pet mesh in the middle and pom poms to dress it up a bit! Unfortunately it was taken one day and not returned! I sure hope it went to a good home!
This is a book I made for a good friend of mine! She is really into her dogs and I thought I'd do something special for her! I love the brown and blue together!
This is a covered marble notebook that I made for another friend of mine! She is an awesome cook and tells great stories! I combined the two for her to write her stories down. You would die laughing at some of them! She is also the demo lady at a local grocery store, hence the title "Diary of a Demo Diva"! She also got a matching clipboard to go with it!
Well, I thought I'd show some of the things I do for fun! More tomorrow so tune back in then :)! Michelle

Brrrrrr!!!!!!!!
Does this picture make you cold or what! This is what my backyard looks like today! I have a sneaky suspicion that there will be no school tomorrow! My husband and I walked to the community clubhouse to exercise (2 mile run, 1.5 mile elyptical, 1 mile biking and weights!) in this mess too! It was up to my ankles and higher - that's a lot of snow! It is the perfect reason to go up to my craft room and work on my projects! I think I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow so that means I can stay up late tonight! Woo hooo!

Lifestyle Change
Since this past year (2006) I have been trying hard to get my weight down and keep it there! I am over 40 now and getting close to the age when my Mom had her first heart attack, so it was important to do! I call it my "lifestyle change"! The girls at work teased me because I stopped eating sweets and candy back in August, I do have something once in a while, but for the most part I am nothing like I was before! I was a total slave to my sweet tooth! I could justify any cookie, candy or cake! So I am close to where I want to be now so I'm happier! I was reading someone elses blog recently and saw this website! It was "on the money" for me! Try it and see if it is for you too! Michelle

Where I'd Rather Be!
This picture was taken off the coast of the Grand Caymans! We recently went for a cruise with my husbands family! What a blast! This week has been a long one! We had almost a whole week off last week due to snow, so trying to play catch up has made it a really tough one! I just love the clarity of color here, the dark spots are the stingrays we were there to swim with! I am sitting here listening to the wind blow (we have a wind advisory in effect right now) and it's cold out there too. I wish I were in the Grand Caymans again right now! Off to work!

Just Can't Throw It Away!
Do you ever have something that you just can't seem to throw away?! You're not sure why you want to keep it - you just do! It may seem like someone else's trash but it has too much potential to wind up in that circular file?! Well, that would describe me, and probably a lot of stuff that is in my craft room! I was recently at a scrapbooking class where the instructor mentioned the strips that come at the bottom of scrapbooking paper sometimes! She said that if anyone ever came up with a use for those to let her know! Well, I love challenges! This idea just "came to me"! LOL! I took my punches, those strips and a new stamp set from SU! and made a card that I don't know if I'll be able to send to anyone - I like it too much!
Here is a picture of the scraps punched out and the punches that I used!
Here is a picture of the final card! Can you see the scraps I punched? They're the little blue strips, in case you're wondering! I got to use my new "Latte" stamp set I purchased recently from Stampin' Up as well! I love this set!
I'll let you know what the class instructor says too! I hope she liked my idea! Michelle

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to my blog! This is where I will be talking about my crafts, my family and other different things going on in my life! I'm a busy woman so I may not post every day! I work full time as an office assistant at an elementary school - a job I love. I still have one child at home and a wonderful husband, both of whom I stay busy taking care of as well! My home is where the Air Force sends us and, so far it has sent us to some fabulous locations! I love being a military wife and the mother of a military man as well! I'll be sharing my current crafting creations here so you never know what to expect my next post to be about! So, sit back and enjoy my ramblings!
